One person, in the code and on the call
actual SEO is run by Eliot Crossley. Technical SEO and web development, working in house on sites that have to pay for themselves.

Why this exists
Most of the businesses I speak to have paid an agency before, and they can tell me what their impressions did, but not what they rank for or which page brought in last month's enquiries.
Reporting on impressions and average position is safe, because those numbers move whether or not the work was any good, while ranking position, organic traffic and leads offer no such cover.
So those three get reported every month, in a format you can read without a call to explain it, and when they are flat the report says so and what I am doing about it. The results page has the ones I can show.
Background
In house since 2021
Working my way up to head of SEO at a UK agency, where the rankings have to hold up to people who check them.
A developer as well as an SEO
I build the sites too, which is why technical fixes get made instead of emailed to someone else's backlog.
Penalty recovery
Taken a site from a Google manual action to position one for its core commercial term, now close to 200 leads a month.
Home services and trades
Where a ranking turns into a phone call the same week, which is the fastest way to find out whether SEO worked.
How I work
Three rules. They cost me work sometimes, which is rather the point.
I will tell you if you do not need me
If the site needs a plumber rather than an SEO, or if the terms you want are not worth the spend, you will hear that on the first call.
Every claim has a number behind it
Nothing on this site says proven or industry leading without a figure you can ask to see in the account it came from.
Bad months get reported too
Algorithm updates happen and some tests do not work. You get the same report either way, with what I am changing next.
The stack
Nothing exotic. The tools matter far less than whether anyone reads what comes out of them.
Have a look at my work before you decide.
The results page has the numbers. The audit will tell you what is happening on your own site.
